The 21st Century CURES Act requires states to implement an Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) where certain information for service provided is collected and verified through the use of technology for home and community-based services. UCP Agency with Choice implemented the MatrixCare for HomeCare app to comply with this requirement. The purpose of this mandate is to help prevent fraud.
- What Information must the EVV system collect?
- The type of service provided.
- The name of the individual receiving service.
- The date of service delivery.
- The location of service delivery.
- The name of the individual providing the service.
- The time the service begins and ends.
